friend blew a rod, so we are gonna do a swap, we found a 95 4.6 from a crown vic, will that work, we have all the accessories and intake. His mustang is a automatic as well.

The front cover will be different, but you'll have both engines to swap parts from.

Yup different front cover, intake, plenum, etc... Just swap part's, try not to break anything on the old motor.
