I wired up my window switch for my nitrous system tonight. When all was said and done I was getting an incorrect RPM reading on the window switch...Its a Summit racing switch...the car is an 02 GT and I used the red/white wire off of coil #8 for my tach signal...anyone have any ideas?

Wouldn't you want #1 as that's the base for the rest of the cylinders?
well everything I could find said to use cyl#8 for the cleanest tach signal...but I was told last night that I will not be able to get a clean tach signal from a car with multiple coil packs with out a converter....
