Running 14.75 @ 94 with a 2.2 60'.
Hope to possibly break 13's with only 4.10's, DR's and LCA's.
Making 194hp/250tq.

I cant see 3:73's cutting that much time off a car that on average runs high 15's or god forbid a low 16

its not bone stock :dunno: he's got a PI intake and some other bolt ons. he used to have his mods list below the pic of his car. anyway, even if his 60' isnt great (and 2.2 isnt terrible... i cant do better, yet) he makes up for it with an extended torque curve. i would have gone to the track Friday night (to beat 96sohc's times

Just to clear it up, I'll let yall know what I had when I ran the 14.75...
PI Intake
Steeda Underdrives
Densecharger CAI
Trick Flow Plenum
Magnaflow Catback
H&R Sport Springs
KYB AGX's all around
SCT Xcal 2
made 194hp/250tq
and was running a 285/35/18 NT555 out back.

My fastest time without the PI Intake was 15.1 @ 91mph, making 177hp/245tq.

now thats not exactly stock.

when all i had was the 3.90's, K&N FIPK CAI and weld in Flowmasters i ran a 15.23 @ 92.xx. after adding the o/r h and pullies i got a 14.95 @ 93.5. considering i just started drag racing at the end of last summer, i guess im not doing too bad. i need to learn how to launch better and get my flow/torque curve issue resolved (coming SOON!) then i'll be running some much better times.

96sohc, i take back my last statement about you beating me with an equally modded car

with the right tires i could beat you now :dancing6: just messin with ya but im gonna beat your times with less mods ;D

It's all good.
I've only made about 10 1/4 passes in my life, so I'm no expert yet.
Just remember you've got a 5 speed, and should be faster than me anyhow, mod for mod.
Not trying to promote a "whose car is faster" debate, just stating what I've ran with what.

yea ive got about 8-10 passes under my belt as well. i have definitely NOT mastered any part of the sport :-\

i'll be honest im impressed with your times considering whats done to your car. IMO you should be faster but just like me, you need to work on your 60'. i can see where the PI intake made the difference on top because we run the same 60' :thumb:

kid in Minnesota (97stangthang) was trying to talk his parents into purchasing a Mustang for him. they didnt want to due to the weather contidions in that area (snow, ice, etc.). they finally gave in (he thinks) and he's looking forward to getting a sweet little Mustang. of course, we did tell him that $6000 was probably too much to pay for a less than "PERFECT" SN95 GT

we're talking track and tranny to give the young man something to look forward to ;D

so 97stangthang, did you get the car yet? did you find another one for a better price? whats up? enquiring minds want to know ???
