truthfully, i don't see anything wrong with raceing around with some friends... i personally don't do it on main highways, busy roads, curvy road... only country roads where there isn't anything to hit other than a ditch... now, those car were to damn fast to be on the road... street racing or not. Further more, street racing has been around since forever... did you know that Henry Ford had a race with the "chevy" dude, and it was a street race... lol slow as it may be. Now, what has given street races a bad name is the damn fast and the furrest shit. Thats not how street races should be... to many people causes problems.

The problem with street racing now versus when my dad was 18 and street raced, is that back then you would have to drive forever just get to a track. Today, there is no such problem like that. Within 1 hour of me there are 5 drag strips. Within a 3 hour drive there are easily 15 drag strips. Every single one of them have a Street Race night. They use a flagger and only a light to let you know who won. Nobody gets a time slip.

The problem is, the street racer, thug wanna be mentality. They don't partake in street races at the track because that is not "real" street racing. The put their lives and the lives of the public in danger because they only care about themselves.
