wow freaky fast

went with my buddy yesterday to pick up his 2002 ws6
and wow :hammer:
thing is freaky fast those cars were most definitly underrated :crazy2:
raced my friends 04 lightning from a 20 roll spun through first second and a bit on third... and still pulled a length on the lightning :hammer:
i thought my sn95 with 3.73's and a 100 shot was fast.. :hammer:

the last few years of fbody production benefited from actual surplus c5 vette engines, not detuned Ls1s.. GM wanted to axe the f cars in 2000 but saw a way to use their overage of engines. even though they didnt sell very well [which led to their demise haha] i have a f body guru friend, he shed the light on this subject. so, the 00,01, and 02 year z28s, SS, trans ams and ws6 all had the same 350 hp motor... i hate those cars... awesome drivetrains, bucket of bolts and plastic car... :hammer:

This guy where I live has a purple lightning with a Kenne Bell. I Kept up with him from a roll cause of my 4.10's then we kinda stopped. He looked at me and was like, " holy shit, what do you have in that thing? Those cant be stock gears!" I laughed and said yeah, thats about all I have... gears... then i cryed cause its true.

Those WS6's were pertty fast. The LS1 Camaro's were just under rated in general as are most preformance cars from the production line.

They are definitely respectable cars but the stock one i rode in didn't overly impress me, for how they run at the track i expected it to feel faster.

why is that?

It looked like a 99...probably stock..

they run like high 13s/low 14s at about 99-100 Mph

My car trapped 102...and is generally faster from 60 roll...the lightning would beat me from 0-60 Im sure of it.

The 2001 SVT F-150 Lighting is another leap over the 1999-2000 model. Today's truck can do 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds and finish the quarter-mile at 100 mph in 13.9 seconds. And we can assure you, those 13.9 seconds go by very fast indeed.

he is dumb enough to let me take it out without him, he has a lot of money and is dating the neighbor when he is over there he is like just take her out, i offer to fill it up and he says dont worry about
anyway its unbeilieble fast really its crazy

my buddy had a 98 t/a that you could pull the outer door skins kinda flapped when he'd hit a bump.. headlights would stick open, all the steerin control radio bs quit workin, the a/c went out, yadda yadda before it had 40k miles. must been built on a good UAW day

Camaro's suck,I think the ws-6's look sick, though....maybe I'm the only one

I think I like the bigass nostrils in the hood lol, that car looks like it wants to eat you...
