im learning to drive manual... yuh on a mustang. but, i recently purchased off ebay a hurst short throw shifter. i couldnt be more happier. putting around base supurbly. normally, id come to a red light. and start back up and stall. my stock shifter was coming out of gear im supposing. but today... wow. is all i can say. now i know what people talk about. :banana:

I remember when I was first learning to drive manual. My problem was the "taking off" part. Learning when the clutch released was a PITA for me.
