I think theyre shows are cool as shit.
You can only pull off the rusted hood with an older model VW IMO

The Carbon Fibre hood plant is on strike, what else are they supposed to do..... 
Even an older model VW looks stupid with it.
Unless its real and pulling off that old school patina look.
The black bug looked cool. The paint looked old and that car could pull off a rusty hood.

not going to lie, im into all cars. but thats what having a lot of friends into different cars does to you. i see all aspects of cars and like a lot of things in cars. i think clean, slammed, quick honda's are cool. i think VW's are pretty bad*** and would love to own a few in the video below.

one of my fave vids on streetfire. mostly because the editing is beautiful but i also would have loved to be at that meet.
anyways, i love all cars honestly that are stock or have tasteful additions to them. idc if its a civic, mustang, ferrari, supra, skyline, f250, hyabusa, i like everything!
and i like some of those cars in the link, even with the rusted hoods. :headbang:

You have to understand the VW world to appreciate this trend...they do EVERYTHING different, and they don't care.
Personally, I think the rusted hoods look pretty cool on some of the cars, mostly the older ones.
Think of it this way, mullets used to be a cool look...its all relative to the time...and in the VW world, its the time of the rust!

Guess in that case I'm hella glad i'm not into VW. I used to have a Subaru and a lot of those guys have never heard of "less is more" but they're not running around with rusted hoods either.
