Why did you NOT change the oil filter?

You're supposed to change it when you change the oil, if not its kinda pointless...

  8. aight ill do that this afternoon then.

the filter is the most important part to change.
with synthetic oil the way it is today, it can last 10,000 miles (they say...)
the problem is the junk that gets stuck in that oil that the filter needs to pull out.

i use a napa gold filter with a filtermag magnet on it.

also, if you change only the filter, yes SOME of the new oil you put in will come out... alot of it will stay in the oil pan.

    fact is:
this wont kill your car... dont worry about it... shiz happened... you're young...
just go get 3 more quts of the same oil and a new filter. swap out the filter. re-fill it back up and call it good.
if you have an extra qut. of unused oil (still factory sealed) just keep it in your trunk.

i also suggest the purchase of these (or simular):

Wow I almost thought this was Mustang Forums with all the bad info on the amount of oil a 4V needs. There is actually a huge debate on that the 4V can take more than 6 qts. but that is for everyone to do there own research and make there own conclusion
