Entered a Shelby-Cobra-Mustang show in Volo, IL. No trophy but some AWESOME cars (250+). Lots of Fobras, not a real one among them. Very cool to see that many on one place (20-25). 2010 Shelby, window sticker $82K. The Volo Museum has over 100 movie cars and military museum, all open to the show people.Beautiful hilly grass grounds. I'd show you all but I can't post pics anymore!
Only 4-5 SN95's and we got tossed in with the '90-up class so I'm hosed for a trophy. Hard to compete with the New Edge's.
One guy asked me if I trailered mine up from Iowa!! I laughed. Driving's the fun part.
One guy almost fell over when i told him I had 176600 miles on the original motor!
One guy knew more about injectors than I want to know...mine aren't original (beige with orange tops)...who knew?
It was real judging, had to empty the trunk so they could see the carpet, spare and jack type stuff!!!
Good thing I got a plaque the night before at the local mall gathering...almost 300 cars, late ones turned away at the gate! I'd post a pic of the plaque but...
