I'm just looking to get some input on a good rear tire for my 10.5's. I know Nitto 555's are a popular choice but what else have or do you guys use? Thanks!

I would use a DR period unless i was going to the strip or street racing all the time..... You should just go with a High Performance summer tire

Their pretty good from what I hear. I'd get them or the F1s.

You're crazy Handz. Almost ever mustang I seen at Mustang Alley last year (600+Stangs) had some model of BFG.

Michelin OWNS OWNS OWNS OWNS OWNS BFG

Michelin makes the best tires hands down....Puts BFG to shame

Regardless, I like BFG. They make GOOD tires.

I'm seriously considering these: (the brand) http://www.performanceplustire.com/...e/searchByBrand/manufacturerID/129#prodAnchor

555s suck

i have had 3 sets and nothing beat the 555 for the money. I have tracked 555's on the road course and used them in AutoX, and for a street tire they grip damn well.

...cant beat a great tire with 300 tread wear rating :boink:

That place has some pretty good prices, as far as that brand I couldn't tell you. Dont laugh but I have always like bridgestones. I live in Fl so the roads are all flat, so no corner carving for me. No I don't have the stickiest tire out there but they last usually 35k-50k miles. My brother-in-law just got some toyo's for his vette and he luvs em. They hold the road very well

The only problem I have w/ the Bridgestones is they do not like to be out of the groove on the highway, then again that might be a characteristic of directional tires??
