02 H-Pipe on 97

I have an 02 H pipe I've fitted to my 97. The O2's on the front, however, come up about two inches too short to connect. Do 99-04's have longer O2 wiring? I really don't want an extension kit as 18 inches of wiring will clutter it up.

they placed the O2 sensors in different locations on the new edge cars. you'll either have to buy O2 extensions or extend the wires yourself. I'd extend them yourself for free, just wrap them up good so they don't melt from your exhaust.

Right, the O2's are in different locations. But that would necessitate the 99-04 to either a. have a different location for the plug on the cars main harness for the O2's or b. have longer wires on the O2 sensors to connect to the harness.

I believe that its the harness that is longer, the o2 sensors they use are the same part number as 96-98 cars

just take your O2 to the parts store,and get new sensors with longer wires, ford uses same sensor on all fords of that year, some other application will work for U
