im simply stating my opinion, and an example of who i THOUGHT made them.

IMO Cobra LCA's are a waste of money, unless you simply want to upgrade and have new ball joints. other than that, they arent much better than the ones that are on there.

So if you ball joints are fooched, and you have aftermarket wheels then i guess go for it.

I don't see how they will help you not hit the sway bar at full turn with 9" wheels, i know my car rubs somewhere differnet than my roomate's 99+..

ok heres my take on it, why in the hell would you want to get 03/04 cobra LCA's? I had them and about the only thing it did was raise the front of my car up.

If you going to spend that much on LCA's dont get stamped OEM crap, same weight etc, get some nice ones from MM some lightweight performance ones. I wish i did

i always wondered why my car seemed a little higher up front. honestly tho, i liked the outcome after i installed them on my car. i got them for about $150 from Ford before their prices went up. for me it was worth it because i had extremely worn out LCA busings and the ball joints were really loose, boots were cracked and all. the increased turn radius was the biggest plus for me tho.

Because Cobra's were designed for 9" wheels, they are different than GT and base model arm's.

i understand that, but if my wheels hit the sway bar, how do the wheels not hit it?

Because they put the wheel in a position where it won't hit. I honeslty would only be guessing, but they probably push it out a bit. All I know is my 97 rubbed at full lock with 9" wheels up front, and my 04 doesn't.

QA1 make a tubular front control arm, and you can also purchase a Spring perch that fits in there so you can run factory springs.

i know Handz got an amazing deal but this guy just quoted me 130 dollars shipped for his 03 cobra arms..

im thinking 100 bucks is a bit of a better deal. they have 4,000 miles on them and the reason he is selling is because he got an MM k-member.

what should i try and talk him down to.. what would be the most you guys pay for 03 control arms? (shipped)

i bought them brand new, $160+ shipping (not what i mentioned earlier, saw the invoice), i think the shipping came out to about $50, but that included a lot of other things. the control arms were the heaviest tho.

i would say try talking him down to about $80 shipped, or at the very most $100 shipped. personally, id say save up a little more and get new ones.

I've seen them go on a few modular websites for between $60-$100 depending on how long they were on the car. who knows... I want a set to... I'm not modding this car anymore, not since my bro is giving me his '95(read my other post) all my money will go there, only thing i'm doing to this car is new shocks/struts, X2 ball joints, bumpsteer kit, and an alignment. I want this car to drive smooth and be a decent daily driver, and look decent. the other car will have welds front and rear, 9" rear, 390CI engine, roll cage, one bucket seat, no stereo, no ac, manual rack... everything... getting rid of the computer and all the wiring and going with a straight up carb.

guy responded to me, i talked him down from 130 dollars shipped to 90 dollars shipped! I don't think i would do 130 because I just bought a bunch of presents for the parents and girlfriend and school is about to start back up so... im happy with 90 dollar shipped. they have 4,000 miles on them to i think he said.

you lucky bastard! ask him if he has any more? lol... i had a guy say he had some, and he was going to email me back with a price, then started telling me he was a retired Chief on the USS Enterprise(the ship we relieved on deployment last October) then i asked him about control arms, and he never replied... i'm angry now
