didnt sell the 96gt..she's strictly for the drag strip.... the cobra is just a collector's/semi-daily for me... i dont wanna go all out with her with coil overs and stuff...just minor lowering. The big mods will be left for white lightning

I read somewhere that you can cut terminator springs and it won't affect the ride.



I could be wrong though. Someone shed some light?

"First and foremost, the reason numerous Cobra owners cut their springs is because the 03/04 Cobras come stock with Linear Springs(What is the definition of linear spring?). That allows us to shorten them without hurting ride quality so long as you dont cut more than 2-3 coils off, which I dont think would be possible with wheel/suspension clearance."

hahaha fighting words ;] the most popular I've seen is h&r supersports for being low without coilovers. if you want a reasonable drop, go something like eibach prokit. how low do you wanna be?

if she lives close im always down for a race. and my termie doesnt get raced... i baby her... i rag out my gt. i like the eibach's alot... i dont wanna drop her too low... just maybe an inch to an inch and a half... i swear the stock suspension on mustangs looks like a 4x4 set-up lol terrible

i used to have fr lowering springs... cut them a bit more, and aw gawd they looked so good.... but.. idk...i dont think i wanna slam the slowbra. ill have to check out the sve's though.... isnt yours lowered already? what set-up u got? check out these rotors i wanna get... soooo sexy...

i baby her around so no problems with cops... she has full exhaust( no cats, off-road pipe, flowmaster mufflers....FR headers coming soon), a K&N FIPK CAI, tune, centerforce clutch, and 3.73 gears... was debating a pulley swap but honestly i wanna keep this termi modest and close to stock. its hard to find semi-stock termis out there anymore. id rather mess around with my other car. really all i want for her is a set of baer cross drilled/slotted rotors and a set of lowering springs... thatll complete her
