Lovin' the extra thickness! I missed the FR500 from my '94, this is the next best thing for the price.

It´s a lot fatter, almost FR500 size sans the perforated leather.
Feels much better then the stock leather ´96 cobra wheel.

Got this one from ebay for about $200 incl shipping & tax. Search ebay or SVTP.

i'll sell my 03 wheel once i install the momo.
You have an 03 cobra wheel? Dark charcoal interior? You might have a buyer here lol. I actually drove a customer's termy at work the other day, the steering wheel is MUCH softer than my mach's wheel :).

I don't get the thing for soft steering wheels. I really like the stock GT steering wheels, guess i'm just weird lol.

x2

Looking at teh differences in the way the cobra was wrapped to the stock gt I would say that it has been re-wrapped. Only two pieces of leather in it connected top and bottom and the way it is tucked into the plastic pieces just looks a bit off on the top right.

I am really curious as that is the same plan I had for mine.

Correct, the cobra wheels are wrapped in an extra layer of leather. From what I've seen the rewrapping on GT wheels hardly ever looks as good or it looks good but is way more expensive compared to just slapping a cobra wheel on.

I also noticed, I love how you're still kicking the old school cassette/cd Mach 460, very classy!

Make me an offer, but remember I'm in Holland, so shipping is a tad more compared to continental US. I think shipping the cobra wheel was around $50.

Steve, I wish I could. But shipping an airbag is illegal, and finding a spare charcoal airbag with COBRA lettering in the country is gonna be impossible, because there are no terminators in Holland.
