I presently have a '95 GT with 17x9 rims all around. 235's up front with 275's on the rear. I'm thinking about getting a set of 10.5 rims with 315's for the rear. Questions: 1.) Any problems moving the 17x9x275's up front? 2.) Any issues show up with clearances with the 17x10.5x315's out back. The car is lowered with H&R springs. I think I'll need to flip the quad shocks, I'm running a Magnaflow exhaust. I've heard of guys needing to adjust the wheel well lip. Any one running this combination? Thanks.

the lip should be ok, i ran 315s but i never drove the car really... if you got the pennies i'd recommend getting lcas and yank the quadshox, otherwise flip them

my 17x9-275/40/17's rub my control arms up front, and they stick out past the front fenders.

my 17x10.5-315/35/17's needed a small amount of massaging of the inner pinch weld where the wheel well meets the frame, towards the rear of the tire

I have magnaflow exhaust and 17X10.5 rims in the rear w/ 315 Nitto's. It depends on what kind of tires you have on the back for if you will need to flip the quad shocks or roll the fenders. The Nitto's run narrow and Ive had to do neither mod to have them fit and they dont rub.

315/35/17
but i have no quad shocks and replaced upper and lower ctrl arms.
i can fit my fingers between the tires and the inside shield.
the fronts have some wacked out tire on it, but they have enough room, i do have coil overs though.

mine only rub on hard turns. i have no quad shocks either, i have all Maximum Motorsports suspension components and its not like i have anything in the trunk to weight it down. I've taken out the rear seat, spare all the trunk paneling. It actually is annoying, consider yourself lucky cuz im envious lol.

I ditched the quad shocks after I got the car, they were shot anyways. I run a 295 on an 18" wheel, and they rub some. I had to massage the pinch weld also, as the tire caught it and bent it into the wheel well. it made a horrendous noise when I took a corner!!! I have seen quite a few 94-95's with 315 rubber out back, and it seems to run well.

I have run a 275 in the front for a while now, and no bad things have happened. I run it on an 18" wheel too.

ive got 275/35/18's up front and 295/35/18's in the back, no issues at all except i still dont hook up.... 315's are next on the list with 10, 1.5 or 11 inch saleens if i can find them that large (ive found the 10's in black but nothing larger)
