Just like the title says, i got about $1500 to $1800 to spend and im wondering what u guys think i need. I need to get a new clutch so that has to get factored in. Id really like to get as much power as possible. Right now i have 410's, lowering springs/coils, cobra front control arms, subframe connectors, CAI, u/d pullies, and x pipe to flowmasters. I was thinkin shortys, bigger tires, lol maybe even a chip?? or cylinder heads? keep in mind that i have to factor in labor as well because im not a mechanic and im afraid of seriously screwin up me ride if i do it myself.....thanks

What s it going on? You wont need a chip yet with those mods, maybe after injectors, heads, bigger mass air or something like that. And bigger tires wont make anything go faster. OR you could save it for something bigger and better or if something ever breaks.....I've ran into that problem:/

Get a set of twisted wedges, an intake, and your clutch
He won't have enough money, he has to pay for labor and the heads are an easy 800 bucks used plus clutch and install for that.
My advice is to you is get your clutch done and see how much it cost. After that price around how much labor will be to change your heads etc (I can see it being around 500 bucks from a good shop) and see what you can do with the remaining funds you have.

Replace your clutch and buy a set of heads. Put the heads under your bed until you can get some cash together for an intake and labor.

this. buying the best possible stuff is the way to go even if it takes a while to get everything together.

i know that it may seem intimidating at 1st but heads are actually extremely easy to do. I've pulled mine at the track before to swap gaskets. intake off, heads off new gaskets and back together in 2 hours.

A lot of smart people on here and i'll have to agree with them. First off by doing your h.w. and turning wrenches. Not only do you know exactly what you did but if doesnt come out right you can jump on here and ask. Second it's your car and I undestand sometimes people dont have time or w/e the reason may be but you end up learning alot by just getting in there. I myself havent done my heads but i certainly plan on doing them on my own with some help from this community. Save money, do some h.w. and you will be able to buy those 165s and a clutch.
