1994 cobra to buy or not to buy

my girlfriend is really interested in this 94 cobra, i test drove it for her and the car drove mint,
The good...full exhaust, fairly clean, clean title, 4.10s, steeda short throw, new tires
The bad...116000 miles, car was painted a different color prior and james were left that color

he oringally wanted 6700, then 6000, then 5500 and i got them down to 5000

should she get it...help me out guys

it was missing the fog lights, but he did show me the old ones in the trunk...he said he took them off when the car was resprayed...couldnt tell you why it had 42 pnd injectors tho...

42lb injectors, holy F what for? did he get a MAF or a tune to run those injectors? I'd ask him a few questions like that, should give you an idea if he knew what he was doing.

Hm. Big injectors, fuel pressure gauge in the engine bay, a/c line is cut.

Car most likely had a blower or turbo at some point in its life.. if he says he had "plans" to do it then i'd be calling bullshit left and right. Not judging anything off the interior gauges btw.

If he lets it go for 4k then go for it.

Also, is it me or is the driver's side airbag not the right color? looks like its not black.

Run a carfax on that car, check the aprons (where the fenders mount), check the frames too see if they've been buckled (lean over and look at it by the headers), also check for the Ford stamp on the radiator support on the driver's side. If it's there, check the spot weld(s) if they seems really smooth and almost like you cant see them, its been crashed. If it seems too rough, its been crashed. If it just looks like a round indentation then its good.

Yah but ricers put boost gauges for the shit of it.. he can just say he had plans to boost it, but the little things in the engine bay are what give it away that the car was boosted at one point.

for that kinda money (5K), you could find a more "original" 94-95 Cobra, even tho it may have a little more higher miles that this one...Unless you plan on using the car as a project car..?
