can anyone explain why my throttle boggs when i give it gas rapidlly????i checked the mass air sensor an throttle body ....i dont know if it might be the injectors...if so how do i clean them without taking them off????

modifications or stock? didn't you say something about spun bearing?

the spun bearing was in the other motor i changed it this past weekend wwith a gt motor out of a 94 5.0 gt almost the same minus a little power

i assume you put gt block, heads, and cam into cobra when you say gt motor. intake still cobra though? correct?

well first off your description of the problem is vague at best.... didnt you just get this car?

If so, do yourself a favor and give it a cheapy tune up.
Plugs, fuel filter, clean the maf, fresh dist. cap and rotor.

Once you get those things in, see how it runs.
Oh yeah and pull codes.... there may not be anything there, but you never know. Not all codes will give a check engine light.

Did you use the MAF from the GT or the one from the cobra?
You need to use the one from the cobra.

My bad... You can use the GT maf, its just the 24s are compensated for by the cobra PCM.

at tip in you may be flooding due to 24 lb. inj. and comp. with gt head, cam ,intake. need knowledge i don't have if that is the case. btw. why would you use a gt intake instead of the cobra one. heads and cam i can see for the quick swap but the intake i don't?

i dont even know why i didnt switch them either but now that you mentioned it i will most likely change the this week..

good. :wave: for a minute i thought you may have meant put a gt computer and inj. in. that would raise a few eyebrows and more questions,

do the heads while your at it. and check your fuel pressure.
