Hey everyone so I was at my brothers house and he lives in a rustic style/woodsy neighborhood so I figured why not take a picture. Anyways just look for opinions on cosmetics. Lately I been really wanting to make this bad boy look unique and add some body to it. I have black saleens on the way. I also been really into the saleen kits, should I buy one or keep the stock look? Give me your opinions or if you got any better suggestions!

Oh and here is my brothers '94 GT, has a 347 from Coast High Performance and supercharged, talk about a BEAST

Nice car, we're twins! lol, honest first opinion though, do away with the headlight covers and go with a smoked 2 piece set. strictly my opinion though, nice car man.

Louvers need to go, I liked them when I was 7 and my dad had them on his Iroc-Z, but they really dont' belong on something as curvy as the SN95 platform. The stock wheels need to go too, but you already have that solved it sounds like. If you don't have the staggered wheels i'd strongly suggest a spacer kit for the rear though as I can't stand how far the rear wheels sit inside the fenders. It's a relatively cheap mod to do with outstanding return on investment looks wise.

I've personally always liked parts of the saleen kit. If my long term goals included keeping my car I'd be looking hard into a saleen rear bumper with the side vents shaved smooth. That was really the only part I didn't like about the entire kit. If you don't end up doing the saleen kit, pick up one of the mach 1 style front splitters for the front. Goes a long way to correcting the stock GT front bumper's "underbite".

Chin spoiler, tint, spacers, and new headlights and it'll look a million times better.

I personally don't care for the saleen kit. Doesn't look all that great on your brothers car to be honest.

Get those saleens on first. Than paint your calipers, chin spoiler, tint and debadge those headlight covers. I have the same ones, mine said GTO amd i peeled the stickers off and cleaned the residue off with alcohol wipes.

I would also probably ditch the Stormin Norman hood and go back to a stock or standard Cobra R hood if I were you. That hood looked ok on the foxbody stangs because it's angular lines matched up with the rest of the car, but it just feels like a different design philosophy on the curvy and completely non angular 94-98 body style.

This car was always my "guide" although I slightly deviated on the hood.

I like the hood, the rims will totally change it.

I wouldnt go saleen body kit unless you do the whole thing and lower it. The saleen front bumper looks awful IMO on a otherwise stockish car.

i say at the least until you can afford to do a whole body kit would be to throw a chin spoiler on there. will make the front bumper look bigger to fit more with the larger hood. i love a saleen kit but if your brother already has that then do something different. would be a little weird to have identical cars. perhaps the stalker kit?

Personally, it comes down to what you like. I've gone from a GT to a Fobra and now a Faleen and I love it.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Here's my friend Randy's Black 96 Faleen
