Got my buddy to modify my valve cover so the alternator doesn’t hit anymore . I probably should have took some more off . Oh well it clears now no more belt slip

Here's what I do so I can use any valve cover that I choose. Expand the pic and look at the top mounting point of the alternator. See the spacer plate? It tips the alternator about 1" towards the passenger side. It requires a longer belt to do so.

Here's what I do so I can use any valve cover that I choose. Expand the pic and look at the top mounting point of the alternator. See the spacer plate? It tips the alternator about 1" towards the passenger side. It requires a longer belt to do so.
With the blower I’d rather modify the valve cover . Me and a person or two force the belts on .
