1995 black/black SVT Cobra coupe,99k
347 stroker <7k on the motor
Tremec TKX 5-speed
95% of suspension Maximum Motorsports (not the K-member)
Rear seat delete
Double-din head unit/upgraded speakers
New starter, alternator, Mishimoto alum.radiator
Nitto tires on 17x9’s
New Sparco Sport seat
New MSD cap/Ford Racing 9mm wires
BBK cold air intake
Freshly powder coated upper intake
New TPS, EGR, MAF sensor & motor

Lots more but if you’ve followed me on this Forum, you know how I am about my car. I’m selling it because I have been put through the wringer and have been jumping through hoops to comply with all the CARB rules, regulations and horseshit. I just spent $1,800+$350 install for 4 MagnaFlow cats that match what was in there and that passed smog for the last 6 years. Now I come to learn that the cats they require are not only longer, but will run me another
$1,350+tax/shipping (no refund or any credit from MagnaFlow < 50 miles on them), are a 2” diameter vs the 2.5” in there now, and are 10” and 16@ long vs the 9”x5” in there now. I’m frickin done with CA crap, so the first 10k gets a car with more than twice that into it.

If out of state, you come get, bring a truck because I have a huge box of parts or pay to have it all shipped.

Please, serious only. Thanks for looking.

Daryl

Just installed new upper front window weatherstripping both sides (ie, the A-pillar to B-pillar piece), which was on order when I decided to list the car For Sale, so I installed it.

After spending $4k, still doesn’t pass. Last straw. I’m done. No takers here (not even 1 offer) for what I felt was a pretty generous price, so I’m donating it to “Vehicles For Veterans” and will take the tax write off.

Well, that's a shame. I feel for you. I just don't see why it can't pass. Problem is, you're probably too far away for most of us to consider it.
Have you tried listing it on the SVT forum? Lots of Cobra guys there, they may even be able to give you more insight on fixing the problem.
