1996 Mustang Gt 4.6

Hey i own a 1996 mustang GT 4.6 its my first car im only 15 so i get my liscense in june ive done all the work mainly by myself. i have the bbk 78mm throtle body with k&n air intake i have a short throw shifter and 373 gears in the rear end it has a tune and possibly a cam in it makes 303 bhp was wondering i have power everything seats mirrors etc.. but my windows out of all things was wondering if you guys knew for a reason why it would come like that and i also need the handle for the window crank if anyone is selling them. And also just any sugestions on what i should do to it it will be my daily till i get a job and then im going to pull the engine and drop somthing else into it thanks for any suggestions. also have a new cobra clutch in it. its a 5 speed forgot to mention that

Welcome, Owen! Sounds like a good start. Can't help you on a window crank, sorry. Are there any wrecking yards near you that let you pick your own parts? I find a lot of cheap SN95 parts there.

Is it a 248a package by chance? Thats the only think I can think of that would explain the manual windows. I would think that it would have manual seats also though. Do the doors look like they are from another car or have been repainted?

Does it have the gt/cobra sport seats or the v6 style seats? Does it have a spoiler and fog lights?

hey i dont know if its the 248a package but it has manual seats they are the orriginal doors the car is supposed to be blue the guy that owned it before me srayed primer everywhere. it had a spoiler when bought originally theres none on now plan on getting the ducktail for it and i have the cobra front end bumper becuase i like that style better

You could option a 248a with anything's a V6 had an option for if I'm not mistaken. Power bits, spoilers, wheels, CD player, rear defroster, etc. Mine had a spoiler added at some point in its life and I switched out the awesome (sarcasm) seats for recaros line the ones in the 00 Cobra R. I have no rear defroster, manual locks and windows, no abs and stock sound system. I still have not come across another 248a, bit I have seen a couple GTS cars pop up for sale.

He's a young kid thats guestimating I'm sure. I doubt he's had the car on the dyno and I'm going to assume he's talking crank hp.

no it was dynoed for 303rwhp like i said i bought the car from a guy in norther florida i have offroad H pipe and flowmaster 40s it has a tune and maybe a cam sounds like it

Kid no one is bustin your balls but unless you have the dyno sheets and proof that's exactly the same car from the sheets and nothing's been removed since the dyno then you can't know for sure and honestly a lot of the members who doubt those numbers have been thru these builds and know what the realistic numbers are.

Slow down and just chill a little. There is much to be learned here and everyone's here to help those who come in open minded and are willing to learn.

Again, we ain't bustin ya chops!!! Just trying to make ya understand. Your young enough that if ya sit back and start learning this stuff on these cars you will be further along than most of your friends. Most kids don't want to take the time to really learn at a young age, they just instantly want to talk like they already have a clue. I have a 16 year old son and we all were 15/16 once.

im not mad im 16 i paid for the car and everything i will try to post a picture of the dyno sheet but theres nothing been removed only thing ive done engine wise was clean the throttle body and started pulling the plugs

My PI engine with Fox Lake Stage 2 Heads and Hitech Stage 2 Cams with damn near every bolt on minus headers doesn't make too much over that so I know for a fact those numbers aren't coming from your non pi, Stock headed car. Someone lied to you and gave you a sheet from another car or something.
