2000 cobra superchargered?

So i was at a car show last night parked next to some loser with a supercharerged AND turbocharged 2000 mustang cobra. So i ask him why super charge and turbo the car? He says that it was supercharged from the factory and he added the turbo for more top end power. So i says, "it looks like you just took an 03/04 cobra motor and put it in a GT" and he replies "NO its a freak from the factory and there was only a few 2000 GT/ Cobra's that were supercharged". So who's right about this because i see him all the time and i want to throw it in his face next time?

I know this dude is a tool but you can make huge power with turbos going into a roots inlet. Its a pretty neat setup, just expensive.

See it was wierd though because when he took off down the street, it didnt have the usual blower wine like a terminator, so he must have had the supercharger boost way down and the turbo boost way up. Either way that guy is getting flamed next monday night

I believe it was in 2002 not 2000, and they only exported 100 to Australia. I could be wrong though.

its real.... its a "SRS" package... same niche line in the factory as the GT-R.....

i ran into a guy who "has been building race motors for 30 years" who bought his son a 2004 Mach 1.

poor guy spent $28k on a "special edition mach1"

i took his son away from the converstaion and was like "take this thing back and get your money back"
roughly 90 days later the tranny blew and they took the car back to the dealer. lol!
