2003 VW Jetta GL

So my sis is looking to buy a '03 VW jetta gl with a 1.8 turbo. Are these cars pretty quick? Are they good quality? I know some people have said that they love em, some say they hate em. Just wondering your opinion. Thanks

I have not heard anything good about VWs for the last5-7 yrs from the people that owned them. Had a guy at work actully get the lemon law to replace one of them.

This right there! I have seen a few quick ones in town but after talking to the owners I would never own one.

Have fun with the axles..... i snapped 3 or 4 of them in the turbo bug my ex owned

I hope she doesnt have to do a tune up anytime soon! regular oem wires are at least $120+
