They said in the video that It beat the corvette's time in the quarter mile by running a 11.6, a brand new z06's record in the quarter mile is a 10.9 on the stock run flats and a 10.6 on drag radials. (there was a thread on here a couple weeks ago about that)

imo it looks terrible, just like the g35.. and weighs a massive 3800lbs...

I agree with realitygt. I think the previous body style Skylines looked the best. As far as the 1/4 mile time. They did mention that the runway was a bit slick and they got only 2 tries with it cause someone actually owned that car as a personal vehicle.

I can respect its capabilities, especially for what it costs, but I'm not bowled over by it. Call me old-school but I'm not the kind who wants to jump in, push this, hold that for several seconds, and play with this and that. Just get in and go!

Maybe I'm so surprised because I expected "medium" performance, that just kind of rides the skyline name hype. Turns out this car is a no shit car and will run with the best the industry has to offer. Not what I would buy myself with 70k, but a bad ass car IMO.

X2... racing and driving a car hard should be made up by the driver. saying "yeah bob doesn't know how to drive a stick
very well," but now you can say.. yeah man i was really confused, i haven't read the section in the owners manual on
how to launch good.
the front looks just like a 350Z/G35 and the rear, very similar. not worth 70K to me.

Ok guys i will say this much the r32 r33 r34 are legal in the US..they were crash tested and now only take 2k to get street legal. Vin code basically.. This car has way to much tech into it for me and if i can work and play on it i dont want it at all.. i was in the process of importing an r32 gtr vspec(first yr)94 and the company i went threw fell apart so im still in a legal battle to get my deposit.. Its now a v6 if im not mistaken. I would like to see the straight 6 back it was kinda easy to work on and less tech to F up. I like that you can play with the old ones but only time will tell about these ones.. Im sorry guys but if ford made a mustang that had so much tech in it you couldnt run a carb or change a gear without a meltdown of the car would you still buy it???? I dont like it at all..my2cents
