Well, myself and a good friend of mine took a week vacation to take his 1000rwhp Supra down to Houston, TX for the Supra Nationals. There is a VERY good reason as to why they call this "The most powerful street car meet in the world." I was skeptical at first but after experiencing it ALL first hand. I've got to agree. To put things into perspective...I couldn't SPIT without hitting a twin turbo viper or 900+hp supra. The SLOW car were in the 6-700rwhp range. After the day's events, the night time shit talking and racing kept it going till well past 3 am. Here are a few pics that I've got uploaded so far. I've got a shitload more and also making a quick highlight video for the supra we went down there with, followed by a compilation of everything.

After a 24hr drive from NC, we make it to houston....
I celebrate with a beer. I got some WIERD looks at 9am drinking bud light but fuck'em
TELL me this ain't a supra event...they have sanctioned ROLL RACING! This ended up be a very cool event. We ended up placing 2nd in the drag radial class on an 18" drag radial with this car....
60-130mph in 4.9seconds...with traction issue on a VHT prepped track. 1000+hp is a wonderful thing O0
This is the car the beat us out by 1/10th of a second...TH350auto, bigger turbo, on a 15" drag radial...
This was his OTHER car....1300rwhp
The guy that owned those car was an older gentlemen. He had another black supra and black viper as well...under repair/construction...all making that magic number....1000rwhp. Who only knows what else he has....
THIS is perhaps my MOST favorite car down there....
Apparently, the second night of the meet, he was racing a supra at what he read as 205mph and hit a small rock....which promptly took out his oil pan. He had it fixed the next day but judging by the discoloration of his brakes and the 1000hp dyno pulls...I'd say he was close to that speed. I would have sex with this car...

The crank bolt kept backing out on him and the pulley would walk off....SO I brought out the pythons and tq wrench for him...its STILL in.

TWIN turbo'd Porsche GT 2...made 650rwhp...conservatively.
8 second viper. This car WON the unlimited 60-130 Challenge Class. He beat our STREET car by 3/10ths of a second. SICK car none the less.
385ci LS1 running 9.30's on MOTOR with a Dog Ring 6 speed. 1.30 60ft on the back tires. This was a GEAR JAMMIN' SON OF A BITCH!
John Hennessy (yes the VIPER John Hennessy) brought this new GT500 with their flavor on it. Factory FORD GT wheels with Hoosier slicks all around. 593 rwhp I think is what it laid out. Pheonominal car.
R34 Skyline. This thing wasn't just sitting around either. It was getting rode HARD on the road course.

What do you do when its lunch time and your have NO where to eat your food? Oh, just set it on the back of your Viper Competition Coupe...twin turbo'd by your shop....Hennessy. FULL CARBON FIBER BODY on this car...FULL. I just thought this pic was awesome...
SO, you're tired of walking back and forth to the fucking trailer to get beer every 5 minutes and you're clear on the OTHER side of the track. Solution? trailer it behind your pit bike....

This is Joe's LEGIT 2000 Cobra R...with 12,000 miles on it. EVERYONE is on the track! It was SO good to see this car out getting USED LIKE IT SHOULD BE and not another plastic wrapped ebay queen. The owner was an instructor at the Road Course event. WELL, guess who got to ride in it??
THIS GUY. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! I'm a drag race guy so I've never taken a corner like this EVER in my life. I never KNEW a mustang could stick like this. In the 5 laps we ran, we ran a Porsche GT2 down and a Ferrari 355. I was grinning EAR TO FUCKING EAR when I got out. I've got video of it....
Who says IRS can't hook on the track.

How do you stuff 13.50" slicks under a supra? a one off widebody setup on the rear 1/4's. Those flares are 100% Metal. NO GLASS! The cut and bent and beat out and then metal added were needed. I never really noticed it until it was mentioned to me. It looks like a dune buggy from the back. But you can't argue with 7.90's in the 1/4.
