that thing is ugly as sin. they didnt do ANYTHING right with this redesign. the tail lights got worse, the turn signals next to the PROJECTORS looks like ass, the driving lights are too big for the grille, the grille is too short (vertically), and after 44 years they decide they want to move the antenna to the back?
it almost makes me wonder if this is a sign that theyre running out of ideas, and that this could be the end of the line for this car.
as for the performance, im not surprised, nor upset with what they did. the only thing im upset about in the performance aspect, is the lack of choice. you either get a choice (1) V6 or a (1) V8 and thats it. they should have made the base model v6, a base model GT with the 4.6, a premium GT with the 5.4, and the shelby/cobra/boss/etc should have gotten the 6.2 they hyped us all up about. and if they wanted to push it a little farther, make a boosted 6 if they think it could sell.
a 315hp mustang will probably outsell the 400+hp camaro any day, because 315hp is going to appeal to a bigger range of people other than the purist big displacement muscle car guys. plus it gives us a car that is 315hp virtually untuned, as opposed to buying say a Mercedes with 315hp, that you can do virtually nothing to, to get any more power out of it.
