That car made 405 rwhp.

11.98 @ 117MPH with a 1.67 60ft
11.85 @ 117MPH with a 1.64 60ft
11.82 @ 118MPH with a 1.63 60ft

with the slicks and skinnies

Our 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L 4V (5.0 Mustang and Super Fords Magazine Project Car) made 405 RWHP and 375 RWTQ with the addition of an Off-Road X-Pipe, Catback Exhaust System, K&N Drop In Filter, and a Custom Tune! That's a gain of 36 RWHP and 23 RWTQ! That's not bad but we're still working on some other changes in the tune... to gain more horsepower and torque. We should have that worked out by the end of the week.... New Dyno Videos will be posted shortly!

also has a new clutch after they fried the stock one

The also have atleast upper/ lower control arms.

Still, very impressive how the car runs but you gotta realize that 11.82 is a car on slicks and skinnies, with a very good driver, some suspension mods, cutting 1.6x 60 foots, 99% of people will not be able to achieve this.

As you can see the car was running 12.50-12.60s with those mods without launching the hell out of it.

And suppossedly bone stock it did 13.2

Im still very impressed by these cars performance.

I need to get some lower control arms and throw some slicks on my car so I can run some 11.50s

I guess from what I hear that same car went like 10 something on the bottle. The new 5.0L are going to be stupid fast once the good mods are out and people find the right combination of parts. I don't know what kind of internals they have but I sure there will be some forced induction cars in the low 9s by next spring.

well 9's are 9's but Id like to see it done boosted. You can put NO2 on almost anything and have it run a 9 for at least one run w/ out loosing its cookies all over the track

This is pretty impressive!

But I have a question... so only 405whp is enough to have the front tires off the ground on a hard launch? That is sweet!

The video is confusing b/c it showed 368RWHP and it running 11.8

368rwhp is what they dyno stock, dynos have shown between 359-380rwhp for bone stock, average seems to be 360-370rwhp for most dynoed bone stock, some with tunes are in the 380-400rwhp area, some say they dyno 390rwhp stock but thats bs, just tuner messing to get bigger numbers like 1 mag got 395rwhp,but with bolt ons they seem to put down between 380-420rwhp for automatics and between 400-440rwhp for 6 speed manuals, these cars are down right nasty.

Think of it this way, these put same power as a ls1 camaro or corvette with mild heads cam and full bolt ons and lontubes which is 380-430rwhp, and all it takes in the new gt 5.0 is intake and exaust and tune and it will make same 380-430rwhp so badass! fords 1st all motor beast thats not a limited saleen or cobra r lol

these motors are badass i wonder if people are going to swap this motors in the sn95 instead of doing the termi swap? but it will be kinda impossible to put a blower on these new 5.0 cuz last time i checked compression on these motors were 11:1, well not impossible unless you change the pistons

5.0 L Coyote
The 5.0 L (4951 cc, 302 cid)[8] "Coyote" V8 is the latest evolution of the Modular engine.[9] It shares the 4.6 L's 100 mm (3.937 in) bore spacing and 227 mm (8.937 in) deck height,[10] while bore diameter and stroke have increased to 92.2mm (3.63 in) and 92.7mm (3.65 in), respectively. The engine also retains the 4.6 L's 150.7 mm (5.933 in) connecting rod length, which produces a 1.62:1 rod to stroke ratio.[11] The firing order has been changed from that shared by all previous Modular V8s (1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8) to that of the Ford Flathead V8 (1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2).[11] Compression ratio is 11.0:1, despite having typical port fuel injection (as opposed to direct injection) the engine can still be run on 87 octane gasoline. The Coyote features a revised aluminum engine block with improved strength and crank-case ventilation, and all new 4V DOHC cylinder heads that have shifted the camshafts outboard, which allowed for a compact roller finger follower setup and improved intake port geometry. The result is an intake port that outflows the Ford GT intake port by 4 percent and the Yates D3 (NASCAR) intake port up to 0.472" (12 mm) lift, which is the maximum lift of the Coyote's intake cams.[11] The Coyote also features a forged crankshaft, forged powdered metal rods and hypereutectic pistons with oil jets to help piston cooling. Engine redline is 6800 rpm. The engine is Ford's first V8 application of cam torque actuated (CTA) Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing (Ti-VCT), which allows the power-train control module (PCM) to advance and retard intake and exhaust cam timing independently of each other, providing improved power, fuel economy and reduced emissions. The engine also receives a new composite intake manifold with a single blade 80 mm (3.1 in) throttle mounted low and center, necessitating a relocation of the alternator to the side of the engine. The engine is assembled in Ford's Essex Engine Plant in Windsor, Ontario, using existing Modular tooling.[12]

Vehicles equipped with the 32-valve DOHC Ti-VCT 5.0 L include the following:

2011 Ford Mustang GT, 412 hp (307 kW) @ 6500 rpm, 390 lb?ft (529 N?m) @ 4250 rpm
