That's pretty nice. Now, I just need to see how reliable the new motor will be. To me getting a GT with track pack, HIDs, and Sync for about 36k would be a no brainer.

The current 2010 mustang basically walks the camaro, I have witnessed it first hand. That extra hundred horsies didnt help them to much ha.

But I love how the new v6 has one more horse power than the camaro. FTW!!

depends on the speed...from a dig, it could very easily be a driver race....however once above about 60-70 mph the camaro *should* pull away slowly, but a good driver in a mustang could beat a bad driver in a camaro.

The camaro just isnt that much faster for it to be a black and white win for the SS over the GT FROM A DIG, from a roll the brute power of the camaro will take on the power of a GT stock for stock.

I thought that the Camaro only has an automatic? Or maybe that's the Challenger.

The challenger at first only came with auto and srt8 but now has various packages and stick or auto.

And the key word in the camaro vs mustang thing is should. the camaro should pull away and does around 70+, but its got the top end power from that extra 1.6L of displacement. I would be even more mad if it couldn't.

Feel free to check out the recall on the launch control too lol, gotta love then blowing up the gt500/viper tranny in a car that doesnt have as much power as either of them.
Why is it that chevrolet gets it wrong ha.

You obviously have to compare the cars with equal drivers, manual vs manual and auto vs auto the SS is faster than the 2010 GT... not for long though :headbang:

Thats alot of money. For 4-5k more you could pick up a real boss 302 car. I'm biased though. I'd rather have a SHO

Yea, thats about right.

But .2 is a small differance that even the smallest hesitation in a shift or something could make up for which is why its a drivers race IMO.

I believe theres a really badass driver that drove a stock 06 gt to a 13.2...thats not even the newer model with the 3.73s or little more hp.
