I honestly don't like this HP race. What it is doing is giving 400hp+ in the hands of people with WAY too much money for their own good, and will end up hurting themselves and/or others around them by doing stupid crap with the cars. For car enthusiasts (I recently read an article on a notch body 5.0L DOHC swap, which is bada**!) it's awesome, but for the general public, it is causing too many ""wanna be racers" with this high HP cars on the street, driving like morons. I don't even want to count the amount of challengers/chargers/camaros and other recent high HP cars that were trying to street race me. It's stupid, and although the racer in me likes it, the respectable driver in me hates it.

If we were to build things so that the lowest common demonator will not hurt himself with it then there will be alot of other things that will be limited as well.

Even the base v6 has to be respected these days. I suspect we'll see a twin turbo Eco boost v6 (a la SHO) before the 6.2l. I would LOVE to be wrong
