3.55 question (yay another gear thread)

Unless you're blown, go with the 4.30s if manual. Blown, 3.73. 4.56 for autos... regardless.

i know u got them already but i had 3.73s in my last 5.0 put 3.55s in my current for the same reason as you and I wish I didnt, id do 3.90s if I were to do it again.

harder to go back to a steeper gear I think, if you went straight to 3.55s the first time i think it would be less of a deal... and naturally you'd want more than you had before.

Are these used? I'd be a little worried about used gears... Even if they're fine I hear that they give off more whine...

Used gears only might whine b/c they have an established wear pattern in them. Brand new gears will whine too if they are not installed correctly
