3.9L oil filter housing leak

can't find a part number anywhere. is this a gasket or just an "O" ring? thanks. gotta do my son's car.

for the edification of others on here, got the answer thanks to someone on another site...it is an odd shaped "O' ring and apparently will come with a front timing cover set, at least the one from rock auto. will swing by a ford dealer and see if I can get one individually rather than from a gasket set.

That's the whole oil pump there. Are you sure it's not just the oil filter seal leaking. I replaced the oil pump hoping to fix a leak there and it still did it.

has done it every time I replace the filter which has been 3-4 times at least. all motorcraft filters and each time a leak so I figure it's coming from the housing.

Probably just a poor design. I think mine has a little leak there still.
