trickflow kit is 2500 give or take a few bucks depending on where you buy it from , that will give you a 1000 to go thru your bottom end which will be a tight budget but can be done if you do alot of the work yourself ?

Then you better start hoping you get some great deal on parts. Your not going to be able to pull it off with 3500 with New parts.

Find a set of Alum heads probably somewhere around $600 - $1000
Buy the LMR budget Shortblock from. $699
Find a Cobra Upper Lower/GT40 / Tubular GT40 if you can afford it. GT40 will normally run you about $125 (that's the very very common rate over on Corral) There are multiple and i mean multiple for that price.
Cam anywhere from $75 - $125

Realistically be prepared to spend $2000 - $3500 unless you get some good deals on things.

Oh and if you can't find it locally shipping is a Monkey Balls to Canada

Find someone you can ship it to here in the US. Have them ship it to you in Canada. I took care of my buddies Mallory setup. He saved just over ~$100 paying for it to be shipped to me and then I shipped it to him for ~$12

Obviously it will cost more to ship the TFS kit but it will be less than ~$1000 I can tell you that.

GT-40 X series heads can usually be had for that price or less. I paid $980 for mine 2 years ago and they were fully cleaned and rebuilt. You might get lucky and find a set of Eddelbrock or Trickflow heads for about that price, but I doubt it.

Late Model Restoration is a company, so just go to their webzite... just incase you didn't know :icon_rr:

Also, I think you can get some really nice used products out there... I don't see a need to buy very many things new, but its your project.

Where in Canada do you live? I will assume Quebec from your user name. There are a bunch of performance shops in Ontario that would be able to sell you parts and what not. I used to work at one in Toronto and I had customers all over Canada (BC, Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Cape Breton etc).

OR join a local Mustang message board, even a Toronto based one to find some parts and local shops that sponsor the message boards.

If you save up a little more you could go turbo for about 4500-5K after everything turbo kit, fuel system, tune, and guage, and you would be around 450hp at the crank on only 6-8 psi. Ontop of that there is alot more room to grow AND you dont need to tear you motor apart untill you want to get over 450RWHP (provided you have a good safe tune and dont flog the car on a daily basis)
