4.6 2v plug gap?

I've tried searching but I can't find what I need.

I'm using autolite plugs in my 96gt but want to know what I should gap them at. I'm getting some pinging and I think it might be from improper gap.

Also I'd like to know what coincides with a smaller gap versus a larger gap. What does what and where's a good starting point.

O2(AIR) particles are larger than Fuel particles

Leaner mixture= larger gap, SO it can get into the gap.
Richer mixture= Smaller gap.

Understand?
