researching on other forums I'm registered at (that I forgot about), but not comfortable anywhere but here, so I'm asking for input. Next 3 mods for the car (that I consider worth mentioning) are, getting heads ported, cams, and intake manifold. Currently focusing on intake manifold. What I know is available: Bullitt (not under consideration), P51 and Reichard (both under consideration). Anybody running either of these, or any opinions, or does anybody know of a better one?

how about that new TRICK FLOW one Mel, Ive seen some good numbers from it. Your doing ported heads and cams so im sure you would get some nice gains out of it. I think it goes for like 600 bucks :coolsmiley:

That was my original choice, but I thought the p51 was better. Then I found out about the Reichard, but haven't really been able to find out much about it....

I think those two are more toward racing set ups mel ( I could be wrong ) butttt if your going a little strong with the cams ......why not go with one of those :dunno:

well, cause I'm constantly torn between building a monster and building an awesome street car that does well at the track. Was reading about a variable runner intake in one of my books, but waiting for the author to get back to me on possibility of production, and just trying to find out what else is available....

Nope. Gonna s/c eventually, and probably with Tad's Rotrex deal... After that, we'll decide whether nitrous is needed or not...

Every report I've seen on the Typhoon has delt with something being wrong with it.

Reichard is more of a max effort intake.

Fox Lake works, but is pricey (if you are looking at one under 1k, it's most likely lacking the fuel rails it requires)

Trickflow is pretty much a Bullit copy, but cooler looking, and doesn't require any special alternators, bracket's, cables, or anything. The price you see is complete. It get's my vote, even though on the dyno it doesn't post an impressive gain, you'll see at least .3 at the track, and your butt will notice it.

As for BBK, don't hold your breath, they are blowing smoke.

I couldn't tell you, even the magazines had to admit that their test unit broke, and you know they love their ad dollar's.

they're supposed to flow better if you have them match ported.
