4.6 to 5.0

hey has anyone done a fi 5.0 swap in there 4.6 sn95 or a carbed 5.0-5.8 i know i need a 5.0 k member but i was wondering about the wire harness for the fuel injection. do i need the hole body harness or does the ecu harness' enterchange im just tired of this moter every time i do this pi intake swap its good for just one day then it runs like sh@#@ and its too fusterating :rant:so let me know!!! thanks

You'd be better office just selling your 4.6 car and buying a 5.0 car.

You'd need a K-member, of course the engine, computer, full harness, you would have to replumb your fuel lines to set up for a return style fuel system, chaange the bellhousing on your tranny(maybe, not 100% sure on that one)

the tranny would have to be a t5 since the bellhousing is for a modualr motor and you can't change it since it's one piece with the case..

Im doing it now but i have a wrecked 95 for the swap its not bad as long as you dont mind a little work im switching dash harness to im not sure if you have to but im did anyway and the fuel lines look the same and come out in the same place so i dont see why they would not work.And of course the k member to and you will need to swicth the hydroboost to a booster/masterclyinder setup.The bell houseing on my 3650 trans is detachable but the t-5 and 3650 bellhouseing are not interchangeable with each other so it wont bolt so you need a trans to.Theres a few more thangs to so it may be easier to sell yours and buy a 5.0 or find a wrecked car for the swap.
