4R70W leak any tips?

Well I've been ignoring a pretty bad leak from my my auto 98 because it's always too damn hot to work on anything,and now it's bad enough, I can't ignore it any more.I got under it long enough to see the leak is coming from inside the bell housing, and it's leaking about 2 qts a week.I do notice that it leaks more right after it gets driven than after it sits, but it still leaks quite a bit overnight.I'm guessing it would need a new front seal, is there anything else I should be looking to replace while I'm in there? I will only have a day or two to drop the tranny do what I gotta do and have it back together so any tips from someone who has done this already would be a great help.

is tranny fluid or motor oil? it may be your engine's rear main seal.

mine leaked from in between the bellhousing and the block.

No, it's definitely tranny fluid.Usually bright red clean fluid which only makes sense cause I'm dumping a few quarts a week through it, so I guess the only upside is I've probably got the cleanest running trans in town.

could be a front pump seal, hard to tell with out seeing it.
