5.0 or 4.6

I posted this question in the 5.0 section so I figured id post it here too... As you all know (or should know) I have a 5.0 cobra engine in my car now. My question is should I keep this car with this engine... or, should i get s 96-98 gt 4.6? i was looking for cons and pros for each engine and your alls opinion on what would be better for power, looks, sound, reliability, cost, etc. so any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Why not get a 99-04 4.6 atleast

i would take 5.0 over 96-98 4.6 but not over the 99-04 4.6

4.6 4 valve beats both..

considerings its a 5.0 car, id just stick w/ the 5.0, h/c/i will help quite a bit, and not to mention their easier to work on

2vs are a waste of money, if you're going to change make sure its got 4 cams.

I would get a 99-04 4.6, but they are too damn expensive. and i couldnt affod to get one plus mod it too. the reason why im asking 96-98 4.6 is because there is a 98 gt down the street from my house for $2750 and i was thinking of getting it. im gonna get it either way, but i was considering keeping that one and selling mine but if my 5.0 cobra would be a better choice then ill just fix the 98 up a bit and make a profit. ;D

I agree with xploder17s. Just make do with what u have, besides 5.0's are a lot cheaper to mod. Besides if u bought the 98gt and started modding it, it would cost more money and u would be in the same position u are now only u would have spent more money.

Thats a really good price for that 4.6, for $2750 you can buy that and add a PI Head/Cams/Intake swap for about $1250 and be making 250rwhp in a reliable car for $4000....thats not bad.
