5.0 Swap

Ok, so I was looking for a spacific thread about a swap I'm considering doing but could not find it. And I wasn't 100% sure on where to post this. It's just a quick question, if there is a thread about it I'm sorry. If someone could send me the link to it that would be nice.

Alright, I wanted to know if it would be possible to swap a 5.0 out of a 1994 GT into a 1996 v6? I've done a 5.0 swap from a 88 fox into a 92 fox 4 banger and ran into lots of problems, but they had the same mounts and stuff. I know the 94 has the 5.0 and 96 has the 4.6 engines. My question is will the 5.0 motor mounts go in a 96 and is there anything I should be warned about, like major mods I will have to do?

I'm just considering it. If it's to much of a hassle I wont bother.

You will need a 94-95 K member. And everything from the 94 gt. So I would just keep the 94 gt until the swap was done. So If you need a part, its most likely there.

It will be a big mess and then some, but it will go, but like stated, you'll need "EVERYTHING" out of the 94 GT to go into the 96, and yes, that includes the ECU. 96+ is EEC V OBD II setup, 95 back is EEC IV OBD I setup.
