5.4 expedition heads

Got a 'through the grape vine' grasp of getting a set of new heads.. from ford assembled for a 5.4 expedition. A newer one. 03 i believe. They PI heads? want to get a set for my car, just need to find the heads period. These might be free, which would allow me to buy a set of cams with what little money i have saved up

They are PI heads. 04 would be 3v on an Expedition, pre 99 would be NPI.

Hmmm 5.4 expedition parts on a mustang......i think we're on to somethin here

I am not real familiar with the differences between the 4.6 and the 5.4 heads but one thing to find out and consider is that the 5.4 heads might have a larger combustion chamber which would reduce your compression. Should look into that.

No difference what so ever between 5.4 heads and 4.6 heads. They are the same. Exactly the same.
