I'd say it all looks pretty good so far just for paint.

Ha, indeed sir!
Thank you sir, I was not aware of that (or I did not read that far into the instructions)
Allen gotta admit the "COBRA" lettering would have been nice however I'm pretty happy with the end product. Got em bolted on this morning before some OT at work.

I'm happy with the look. Now I have to do the backs at some time this summer so they match!
Thank you for the input!
I have asked around as well and come up with the same consensus of don't put the stock converter back in as its for lack of a better phrase a time bomb. My engine guy recommended 3000 rpm minimum stall for this cam so I think it is just going to be delayed getting it running until I can pick up a quality converter for it so it's done right the first time. I was leaning toward the stock one to just get the car running but my luck it would just not work right and I would be pulling the transmission out for a new converter anyway. More wait and do it right and less hurry up I need to be.
Im excited though to get the motor done and in one of these days!
About a month or so ago I had placed an order for Holley's Sniper sheetmetal intake. It was going to be over a month before I was able to get it and about 2 weeks ago I was second guessing it being a good fit for the motor. After some communication back and forth with Holley Tech's they basically (and very awesome on their part, and stupid me I should have done this in the first place) said that it was not going to offer the flow needed for my 347.
Back to the drawing board for now for intakes though there are a few TF options I have been looking at but everything is so damn expensive these days. I was looking at dumping the whole computer and using Holley's Sniper EFI but after more thought and pondering on that I keep running into the control for the transmission (or lack thereof) and that is an issue also. I can go MVB but that is more $ also.
I still need headers and am likely going to go with Pony Down headers as a forward exit/bumper exit configuration. Looking at 1 3/4" primaries into 3" collectors, bullet style mufflers and out either side on the bumper. Good way to make a mean sounding exhaust that is light, cool.......and probably illegal but....yeah.
