7.5 to a 8.8?

As far as I know, any 8.8 that isn't a mustang is a pain in the ass.

Go find a fox 8.8, tons of them and cheap. That what I'm using in my car.

The crown vic is longer than ours and the fox bodys are shorter, Both would require axle swaps to accommodate the sn rear disks.

Yes, crown Vic is totally different, use a fox one and swap brakes and axles over, takes no time at all

Any axle from a 1979-2004 will work although there is slight different in width as the body went on the housing ends and axles changed the basic 8.8 was the same and will be a direct bolt in.

Crown vic, explorer etc etc. Internal parts swap out as the center sections are identical from ring/pinion, posi, bearings, caps etc etc.
