Im sure there's tons of threads on here about this, it's a Ford 80mm mass air meter calibrated for 24#. Can I run it on my 94GT if I put 24# injectors in it? Is there anything else I need?

Ford meters are not calibrated. The ECU controls this function. Aftermarket "calibrated" meters are designed to trick the ECU to read the signal as if it were a OEM meter. Here's the simple explanation of how the meter works. The ECU is programmed to maintain a constant temperature (200*F) from the MAF sensor wire. As more air flows through the meter the sensor starts to cool and the ECU adjusts the voltage to bring the sensor wire back to 200*F. This change allows the ECU to calculate the increased air flow and adjust the fuel requirement so as to maintain the targeted AFR. Feedback from the O2 sensors provide the ECU with the information to further adjust fuel to meet operational parameters.

So it doesnt matter what injectors I run?

Yes it does. The computer adjusts the fuel requirements by adjusting the injector pulse. The computer is programed to expect a certain fuel flow over the pulse width based on 19 lb injectors at a specified pressure. When you increase the injector size more fuel flows during the pulse. Will 24 lbs injectors work. Probably, as the computer will attempt to reduce the flow when it senses a richer AFR than expected. You are most likely to see idle issues. The Cobra computer uses the same MAF but is programmed to expect 24 lb injectors. What I don't see is where you see the need to increase fuel flows. Are there undisclosed mods?

This will be going on the 94GT, I will be adding a cobra intake, 70mm throttle body, gt40 heads and a small cam.

I would be inclined to leave the MAF and injectors alone with those changes. If you feel the need later after the mods are done consider getting the Cobra ECU (J4J1), 24 lb squirters and a tune.

You need to know exactly what the maf came out of, so someone high speed like myself can pull the transfer function out of the base code for you. You then bring that data to someone who can burn you a chip, and have the car tuned with the new MAF and injector values.
