92 Trans Am....CRAP

I am deployed to the middle east, I own a 95 GT with a bunch of bolt ons. Anyways Another guy here has a 92 TA, hes going off about how great his TA is. Saying Mustangs sell to many V6's. I was like they stayed in production bc of that, TA's and Camaros couldnt sell thats why they died. His car came with a 305 P.O.S. He did a 5.3 votec swap out of a silverado, and says it runs a 12.9 1/4 mile. I was like damn dude I am sure my GT runs mid 13's Thats lame that you did all that work and thats all it runs. Just saying. Then they tryed telling me to put a LS1 in my GT. I was like HELL NO! LS1 are fast but I wont do that. I tried to explain GM builds power in the motor but builds weak trans, and rear ends. And Ford builds decient power (untill 2011) good trans and good rear ends. And the Mustang out handles the Camaros/TA's any day of the week, This guy tried arguing with me. And all he can say is to many girls own Mustangs. He also told me his TA out handles any Mustang of the same year, 1992. I just find this hard to believe.

Um, last time I checked, Ford whooped chevy ass from the mid 80's until the LT1 went in the F body... 1/4 mile time, 200ft slalom, and braking. of course, that was the 300# heavier GT, not the notchback LX we all know is the real supercar.... haha!


and.... not to mention, Mustang GT, not the GT500KR, or Saleen.... etc, won the last two Motor Trend Pony Car shootouts, the second one by a wide margin. soo wide, in fact... Chevy started rumors of a 500+hp Z28....

ya so i guess he said after this that its not a 5.3L it a 355 making 500 tr and 400hp at wheels and that he smoked a 11 GT stang. I was liek OK dude UR DUMB

He tried dogging on 4cyl being put in a mustang. I wsa like OK well ford put a 4cyl turbo in a svo and smoked ur 305 stock for stock. He just said it was turbo'd. What a looser it makes up for the other 4cyl.

LOL good stuff. Hes only been here 2 weeks. LOL. But he swears up and down, that he has exactly 400 hp and 500 tr. I was like odds of those numbers are about 1%.

Now hes going off about some crap how teh Z06 is better then the GT500. I checked up on it, it should bc it cost $25,000 more then the GT500. I told him if some one put the extra $25,000 into a GT500 and made the cost the same, teh GT500 would eat it alive.

GM guys get under my skin. Silverado this chevy that. FUCK that crap, they make junk thats why they are one of thee worst vehicles out there. Had to get a loan from the governement. Ford saw the hard times coming and saved their company
