94/95 Hood Struts installed! Pics

Not as many hood strut options for our SN95's & I was reluctant to do all the drilling & riveting these required...but it wasn't so bad. I really like them now that I got 'er done. I did have to have my wife's help on one part. I have pretty bad arthritis in my thumbs & as a result have almost no grip, I could NOT squeeze the pop rivet gun hard enough to finish the steel rivets! LOL, but with her added hands over mine we did it.

It was so bad I had to ice my left hand down last night for hours before I could sleep...but all worth it now...the prop rod is gone! Funny how simple lil mods make one feel so good.

very nice, i like your oil filler cap too. On mine i have the shocks switched so the lettering isn't upside down.

Always a nice addition when you loose the prop rod. Cleans up the whole setup.

looks good. how is the lettering upside down? those are on my to-do list, was it hard to get your hood to line up perfect or does it not effect that?

No effect, the hood mounting isnt even touched. All you do is place the brackets where they tell you to, mark, drill, pop rivet, done.

Matt all you have to do to fix the lettering is just swap the struts to the other side.

LOL...or stand by the door & read them from the other direction! I'm not sure where I got the oil fill cap...I think it was Calif Mustangs.com I'll check my records. It is a very nice Billet piece feels like very good quality.
