94-98 fog light wiring

so i got me a set of fogs for my 96 v6. went to hook up my switch and i noticed there is two sets of connectors under the console one fit and one didn't but they looked very similar. what would be this extra connector for? i already have a power driver seat hooked up so i ruled that out. just curious

BTW, you can splice into the convertible switch wire there and be able to turn on your fogs independent of the headlights.
