Ok so I have a 94 GT everything is in decent shape except 1 small(not really small) problem, then previous owner was high on crack and threw a trailer ball and put his boat into the water with the stang, so the result equals 90% of the chassis from the rear wheels and back is rusted to hell. Seriously some parts you just touch with your fingers and it crumbles into the peices.

So what suggestions can you guys make to restore this I have no idea except getting a new chassis and start putting my GT onto it. Which is alot of work that I will do if its all I can do.

Pulling a boat/jetski trailer should have no bearing on the back half of the car being rusted.
I'd find a salvage yard and get the rear frame section from a car totaled in the front.

Is this a Joke???

If it isn't just take everything in between your front clip and swap it into a donor car.

I'm with CC no matter the make or model it should never be on a vehicle being rusted like that.

Towing does not cause rust, but a river sure as hell will. and fast.

Its called water guys...when the boat gets backed into the water the car usually gets wet.

Sell it and get a new one.

Sell it and start again or buy a donor and swap everything into it. No reason to have a rusty Snive as many nice ones there are out there for cheap.

Ok thxs guys, and yea I live on the coast and since the car sits so low compared to trucks, when u launch it the entire back end sits in the SALT water, and salt makes shit rusts and rust bad, I might hit up a couple of the salavage yards around here and decide what Im going to do from their.
