Well I have a 94gt 5spd. I would like to get into the high 13's with it without breaking into the engine. I am working on building a motor for it, so I was hoping to find somethings to do to make it a little quicker without having to break into the engine that is in it already, unless the parts could swap right onto the 347... I would rather not spend money twice lol. Any suggestions? It sounds like a dumb question but I'm sure I will be able to at least get very low 14's. So far I have a cai, Exhaust, short throw, tokico blue shocks and struts, h&r supersports, Rlca's, c/c plates, and 3.55's. What else could I do, even just to help with 60 foots? I havent had it down to the track since all of the suspension stuff and the gears because its all in the garage waiting to go on lol. I ran 14.7 with just the exuast and short throw so I think it would be possible to at least get close to 13's... Any ideas from the guru's? Thanks, Bobby

So, when you say exhaust, do you mean header back or what. Long tubes and a mid pipe would help out a bit...Oh, and get some under drive pulleys too they're pretty cheap and help out a lot too.

dont mess with under drive pulleys. so ur building a 347 or is it already in the car. headers if u have the stock manifolds then buy some drag radials. with a good 60 foot u can get into the 13's as is right now. i would say ur next mod after that be get a used cobra intake or trick flow ect. can be used on the 347. i wouldent put alot of money in the 302 if u have a 347?

I have an h-pipe with flowmaster back. I do want to get some long tubes...But with how much of a pain they seem to do with the motor in the car I'm not to sure if i wanted to wait till I drop the other motor in. I did have a cobra manifold but I sold it lol, I want to get something that is gonna support the other engine a little better. Yea thats why i didnt want to break into the 302. I don't have a 347 yet, I have another 302 block on a stand which is going to be the 347. Hopefully with the tax money I will have the rest of the cash for the rotating assembly. Next weekend I am going to be picking up a set of deep dish bullits for pretty cheap if the kid doesn't back out so drag radials are deffinatly coming!! Is there any things I can do chasis wise you think? I have subframe connectors also, knew I was forgettin something lol...
