94 stang alternator

So I replaced my harmonic balancer and added some underdrive pullies. so i notice that my car is not charging enough, well bottom line my alternator took a dump :BangHead:

Did you have it tested to verify it's bad? It could also be your underdrive pulleys.

I have under drive pullies and mine doesn't charge all that great at idle but while driving it does great but from what I've read some pullies are worse than others id go to advance or auto zone they'll check it for free

Okay, so once again, did you have it checked to verify it's bad?


If yes, then go get a new alternator. It should take you about 10 minutes to swap it.

Make sure the big nut on the alternator is tight, it might just be spinning.
If it was alright before the pulleys went on its pretty strange.

the alternater is bad, the module is fried, so bought a new one and going in tomorrow
