'94 to '98 GT/Cobra power steering pump

I think I'm going to go ahead and replace the seals at the rack end. Everything is nice and clean and I'd prefer to change those out now rather than have to change them out AND do a bunch more cleaning later.

Thanks for this. I've never heard of a "tapered" o-ring. Could it be that a round cross section is now tapered just due to being against an angled surface for many years? That's what I would suspect.

Honestly, that’s what I would suspect as well, but loooking at it in hand, I’m not 100% sure.

I think the round o-ring will work.

The fitting arrived, I put the new o-rings on it and installed it so I'm good to go. Thanks everyone for the help.
